Tank location?

My new 310RK is in the shop getting some mods done before I take delivery. I was curious as to the location of the fresh/waste tanks in relation to the axles. Weight wasn't an issue with my previous class A so I didn't concern myself with traveling with empty tanks. In previous 5'ers I owned, I did't travel with full tanks. Some rigs have the fresh water behind the axles helping to offset pin weight. Just curious about the 310.

Thanks,
Ken

This is a 310RL. One of the front two Grey tanks is actually black. To finger out which look at where the black ABS pipe from the toilet goes.

George, could you tell me where you get these plans? I would like to see the tank positions on my 2025 Avenue 32RLS.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you George! That’s exactly what I wanted. I can see that fresh water will help the pin weight, black/grey not!

I see you went from a Montana to a class A now back to a 5er.

We did exactly the same! How has been the transition back?

Flyer — I just asked Alliance for it.
brenkco — Truth be told we'd rather have another Class A DP but couldn't swing $350K for one. 😜 There's a LOT on a coach at that price point that we miss. That being said we really do like our 310RL.
Did anyone tell you yet about the "patches" on the underbelly? Supposedly they are pretty much accurate for finding the dump valves.

BTW - If you're brave enough to run with a full fresh tank...
50 gal of water in the tank will unload your pin by ~109 pounds.
Pin weight reduction = ( ( 8.34pounds x 50 ) x 6') / 23'
I just guessed at the 6' distance of the cg of the tank to mid axles.

I hadn’t heard about the patches…DW really didn’t like driving in the DP. well see how this works out. I never thought twice about traveling with a full water tank in the class a. Not sure about the 310 and the way the tanks are supported. I never did in the previous 5ers

Yes, I would love to see the same same blueprint of the location of our tanks on our 2024 Avenue 32rls. we are starting to notice the black water valve handle is getting harder to pull and maybe having a problem in the future. they just don't pull as smooth as they did. may have to replace the valve and cable

Have you tried to lube the cables? Just wondering if that would help?

i have not lubed the cables. i think they are sealed but may have to take a look at the valve but need to know where they are located
