Suspicious email from Alliance?

Hi all, wondering if an email I got from "Joe" at AllianceRV. It did not look like other emails from them and no last name. I got it at11:50 am this morning (July 27)
No images.
It was asking me if I wished to continue getting emails from Alliance and if not to unsubscribe. It had a link which I did not use...
Anyone else get this? Anyone know "Joe"?

I did as well. There is a setting in most email settings to allow the sender to see if you opened it. Mine is disabled, so I am convinced it is spam as well....and even worse, an eventual phone call and a scam.

I emailed the real Joe Mehl after receiving mine and his response was that it was an automated email designed to clean up their list. Still needed some tweaking. So it was real and from Alliance.
I would respond in yhe affirmative if you would like to continue to receive mother's hip emails:)

Yeah...I have never heard of a company that cleans up their marketing contacts....never!! Get ready for the server data breach email...I said it first, although I hope it didn't happen.....

I worked for Intel for 25 years...our marketing team was required to do this once a year.
I hear you, but email bounce backs would be the first line of the deletion process.....Maybe they did it...but imagine how many just read it and deleted it. I am just flagging that they know....or think they know...whether I opened their email.....I disabled that feature in Outlook....therefore they think I haven't read their emails.....However, I DID read the emails they send....but they think I DIDN'T....So I hope this adds to understanding my previous comment. I will now take off my Tin hat!! LOL

Yea...Outlook DOES send data back to sender, even with it "disabled" in settings. Google this and you will find out it is a major flaw in Outlook and MSFT has no planned fix in place.

Well, I stand corrected!! It also appears there is 3rd party software that can bypass outlook as well (Yesware) .....I will have to brush up on my smoke signaling skills ASAP!!
