Solved: Living/kitchen lights out

Following setup yesterday, the fuse serving the main area lights as well as dining, back wall, and island lights and the sofa USB ports was blown. (2025 310RL) A replacement fuse blew before it was even seated.
Does anyone have a schematic so I know where to start troubleshooting? (I’ve reached out to Alliance and await their response.) I’m guessing slide operation is probably at fault. Any tips?

Unfortunately, I don't have or know where to find a schematic diagram. You are probably right that the issue has something to do with the slide out. I'd start by looking underneath the slide out for some pinched, frayed or broken wires. I wish I could be more help.

Finally took this challenge on after working on our dead refigerator. All I had to do was look under the curbside slide to see a rats nest of copper strands.
Failure analysis: The spring meant to tension the four wire bundles broke, due to corrosion, allowing the wires to rub on the back tire. Three 12v wires had one or both conductors rubbed through. A fourth DC wire in its protective cover survived.
The 120v feed to the slide had two of the three conductors exposed and frayed. AC outlets on the dining slide still functioned.
As an aside, we experienced GFI trips shortly after we realized we had a DC short. We never thought they might be related!
I was able to get enough slack from the underbelly to repair all of the circuits.

Not yet. That’s a whole different engineering issue. Finding a corrosion resistant spring and rethinking the attaching points will take some time. Luckily I’m set up for over a week.

A 2 year life expectancy is unacceptable. We haven’t camped on the beach or towed it on winter-salted roads. Inspection should be added to everyone’s pre-trips.
