SOLVED: GrayStone Stove Beeping (bad circuit board)

Hello,

I just purchased a Valor 43v13.

Our stove will not stop beeping. It wasn't beeping at the dealer. We noticed it once we got home and started setting up.

It is extremely loud an annoying. There is no consistency like an error code it's just random beeps. Sometimes it last for a couple minutes then stops, then there are quick blips, then back to constant.

Any ideas?

Just in case anyone sees this. Alliance contacted Greystone; they are sending a replacement part. It's a bad board.
Happy to hear you got this sorted (almost). Thanks for letting us know. Do let me know if the board replacement was not the fix as for now, I am marking this thread as SOLVED. The reason I do this is down the road, as other users search for solutions to issues they have, the search result will deliver a page of threads that match their search keywords. If one or more of the many returned threads is marked as SOLVED, they may get to the correct answer faster.

We have the same problem with our stove. I called Alliance and was told the the control board, which is integrated into the LED display was not something we could purchase. I called Lippert and was told the same thing.

We have the same problem with our stove. I emailed Alliance, and Kevin Caudill, Alliance RV Consumer Affairs Manager, responded and said "if you are getting an error message on the oven it is probable that the oven itself may need to be replaced." I called Lippert and was told the same thing. I don't suppose you still have the part number?

This was a wild situation for us. Alliance sent us the wrong part, Bish gave us the run around for a month. Eventually we were at the PacNW Ally Rally and I was complaining. River City RV was there doing repairs, they sent a guy over to look at it. He said I see this all the time, you just need to run the oven or a burner for 30 seconds. He did as much and we haven’t had a problem since. Never heard from Bish.
