solor power 32rls

hi!
We have our new 32rls and we are loving it! Today when we returned from a trip I turned off the battery kill switch right before we left our storage yard! As I did that I looked at the power switch for the solar and started second guessing myself if I should also be turning it off as well? We usually go back out with 4-6 weeks for another getaway! Would it be good practice to turn it off as well or should I leave it turned on?
thanks for your help!

If you are in storage and the panel has sun exposure, my recommendation would be to leave the solar on.
Ours is on 24/7/365. If you don’t leave it on, you risk a dead battery overtime as your master disconnect doesn’t normally kill everything.
I would caution that if you are using FLA batteries, you need to keep an eye on the fluid level.

Even is you turn it off and do not disconnet the negative side, you probably will return to a dead battery as there are numerous parasitic electrical draws on your batter that just turning off battery kill switch and solar kill switch doesn't turn off. Smoke detectors,CO2 detectors (if separate from smoke detectors). Be safe and just termove the NEG side of battery.
This is assuming that you do not have the ability to plug into a 110V outlet somewhere?
