Solera awning ripped

This is a 2023 310RL that is just reaching it's 2 birthday. The larger front awning has torn front front side of awning where it attaches to the 5th wheel. The Solera has a 5 year fabric warranty. Will the Alliance Service handle this or the dealer? If I have warranty push-back, who would I call at Alliance for help?

You might have a chance at getting that fixed at the National Rally, but I doudt they will pay for the repair at your dealer (due to being out of warranty)

Question...what caused the other two areas to get damaged? The top of the awning has that long damage area and even the side of awning has apparent damage. Any chance you hit something? Tree branch?

As far as hitting a tree (or something) we do not recall any issue. It appears that it is stretched. We're aware of watching the end flap coming down, or when it is stuck to itself and not comedown, so we have not strained it there. It's never been exposed to big winds. It is kept in it's own storage building, if awnings were wet, we dried then before closing up.

The manufactures warranty says 5 years on the fabric, so I guess we need to go to Solera. If no luck, we will work on getting it fixed at the Indy National Rally. Thanks for response. Any other thoughts out there?

🤔🤔 A couple of thoughts, in addition to Oregon Campers thoughts, for your consideration. You,ve probably looked into these already but are offered here.
(1). Looks to me that during a rollout or roll in operation the extension arms got out of alignment on one end while the other extension arm continued & twisted/stressed the fabric? The “flap portion tore along the kedor strip & got folded in on itself when it was being rolled up ?
(2). Did the awning ever get all the way out &, reverse itself & start rolling the fabric backwards?
(3). Have you checked for any mfgr. R recalls by your VIN# ,,,,,put in vin, model #, Mfgr. & will give you a listing of any mfgr. recalls that may possibly impact your trailer? On Past RV’s have seen awning seams listed as faulty that were recalled because of faulty seams
(4). Another thought is if you use any aftermarket awning covers during storage that might have weakened/damaged the seam?
(5). Is there any damage to the aluminum awning roller that aligns with the damaged areas?

Good luck & hope everything works out 🙏🍀
