Slide Topper Installation question

Newly installed slide toppers came loose on the first trip. 2024 Paradigm was prepped for them. The screws pulled right out. I'm wondering if the tensioner was mounter in the right spot. Do they need to be mounted to a support? The holes depth seems it's just sheet metal. Do they normally use double sided tape?
Anyone have a newer 310 with them installed?

My 2023 340RL came with slide toppers as we ordered our unit. I have had nothing but problems with them. Sliding out of the track. Track pulling off the building and even had my bedroom topper completley ruined and left it in the garbage at a campground.
