I think you hit the nail on the head. Try as we may, you can never make RV'ing or life in general 100% foolproof!Embarrassed to tell it but I had a fubar one time with an unintentional black tank flush on our last RV.
I use quick disconnects on my hoses but use a different one on the short black hose whip to avoid mistakes. 🙄 However I need an adapter at home to hook to my garden hose. I mistakenly left the adapter on the short black hose by mistake. We pulled into our first campground and I pulled out a hose from the wet bay to hook up the water. You guessed it, I hooked to the short black hose. Fast forward 30 minutes to a knock on the door from our neighbor saying we had water running off the roof! I shut off the water and it took me a few moments of looking at the wet bay panel to figure what I'd done. I went back inside to check for water leaks and ALMOST mashed the foot feed on the throne. That would have added insult to injury. At least the tank had been mostIy unused this being our first stop. I got a good black tank flush too. The moral is, "You can make it fool-proof, just not damn fool-proof".
I am hoping that never hits my list of "things I have done"! Did it destroy your floor like in the video?Embarrassed to tell it but I had a fubar one time with an unintentional black tank flush on our last RV.

I did something similar with flush king. Did not let tank drain all the way. Thought I had more room. Wife goes I hear water running , I look and water coming down inside storage bay. Had to dry storage bay and floor in bedroom. Lucky it was third flush so mostly clear. Was distracted. 😏Embarrassed to tell it but I had a fubar one time with an unintentional black tank flush on our last RV.
