Well... I was in the trailer to put the mattress protector and the sheets on the bed. I was lifting the plastic to cut it off of that thing they call a mattress. Every time I would barely lift the mattress to cut the plastic, the underbed storage pops up without me lifting it. The mattress is enough weight to keep it down but the second the mattress is slightly lifted it pops up, almost straight up. I can't seem to make my mind figure out which end of the shock I need to move, and which direction I need to move it. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

Move the bottom (box end) brackets towards the platform hinge.
We had the opposite problem with the platform not staying up. Moving the bottom brackets away from the hinge (towards the foot of the bed) solved the problem without having to find different air springs. Still working well.

I went to a local dealer (not where I bought it) today and the Delta they had on their showroom floor is the same as mine. She told me that is the way they are now with the new style shocks. Supposedly they are like that so that you can get things in and out of the storage easier. In the meanwhile, I was out looking at it today and the small piece of plywood where they mount it to the mattress came off so I only have one shock on there for now. Even though I didn't buy it there, she said to get her my VIN and some pictures and they would send it in to Alliance and get approval for repairs. She said they could get the parts in and schedule it and do it in just a couple hours. So that's what I am going to do. They will also replace the backsplash behind the stove area while they have it. It has raised spots where the glue didn't hold.
