Yes, they are just like any other brand, with poor workmanship, and built for speed, not quality. On my 262RB, I've repaired numerous small problems including, screws pulling out of the cabinets, broken shelf support, loose wiring on thermostat, stripped screws on outside magnets, etc., etc. Those are all easy fixes, annoying on a new trailer, but it's what expected across all brands. I've owned 5 RVs across three different brands, all of them had these small problems.
Having said that, Alliance is very responsive to repair issues and work with you to make it right, just don't go back to the dealer unless it's something major.
