Seasonal set up

New Delta setup for seasonal camping question. Is there any issue or concern in blocking under the frame in front of and behind the axles for yearly or multiple season setup ? The only thing I see to watch for is the hydraulic line.

Hi folks, I see no one chimed in here.
My opinion would be as long as you are making direct contact with the actual frame I wouldn’t see a problem with it.
Don’t pinch anything between your frame and supports, and raise it enough to take the long term load off of the tires.
If you choose to remove the tires, I would suggest some support under the axles , so that aren’t hanging under their own weight long term.
I would suggest placing a piece of wood between the frame and whatever you choose to support it with.
Be careful , work safely and be sure things are 100 percent stable.

I also got a response from Kevin at Alliance. He recommended keeping a fair amount of weight on the tires for stability. I'll keep a sharp eye on the stabilizers to not allow too much weight on them from any settling.

What is the advantage of putting rig on blocks? to save tires? To create a more stable/rigid platform?
Would a mobile home or destination trailer be a better idea?

More stable I guess. Destination trailers are out of our price range. We like the idea of easier mobility if we don't like a certain campground

Sure, no worries. While I don't wish to contradict factory advice, I would be concerned about flat spotting my tires if they are stationary and under load long term. I know our tires will thump a little after leaving the driveway between trips (in just a few weeks)
After all, you indicated that you were going to block under the frame, so I don't see the point of keeping load on the tires.
I would block solidly reducing the weight on the tires and suspension as much as you are comfortable with let the stabilizers do their job.
