Sansui 50” tv and furrion sound bar

I have a new 32rls with a sansui 50” tv and furrion soundbar. Any tricks to force tv to sound bar ?

I’ve gone to the tv audio settings and selected external speakers but it doesn’t make any difference. Thinking it’s tv audio signal issue.

I found my answer. Seems that a person shouldn’t have to spend $50 at Best Buy to buy an optical cable and converter box to use a sound bar in a $80k trailer.

I have to agree (just purchased my 29rl.) why would they put a soundbar under the TV and not have it connected so it works in unison with the TV. Makes no sense to me.

I purchased a convertor from BestBuy to go from the Optical Output on the Sansui TV to RCA on the Furrion soundbar. Sound output on the Sansui needs to be set to PCM.

Still makes no sense to install a soundbar that is not readily compatible with the TV.

We had similar issues in our Valor. Jenson TV to JBL Radio/Soundbar. Tried RCA cables and wouldn’t work and the Jensen TV didn’t have an optical cable port. Switched out the Jensen TV to a better Vizio and bought a $5 Optical cord. As stated above, you shouldn’t have to be buying parts to make a soundbar work on a ($98,000 in our case) rig
