Rookie Questions

Literally, just picked up ‘25 Delta 262RB, just spent 2 nights and have some rookie Q’s:
1) remote does not control unit for main AC. Has battery and can adjust via remote as you’d expect, but it doesn’t actually change the unit. Thoughts?
2) bedroom AC - I can adjust fan speed on the control, but the fan speed doesn’t seem to change. Thoughts?
3) when facing the bed, the left side has a rocker for o/h lights and works fine. The right side also has a rocker switch, but when I flip it up a red light appears but the lights do not go on/off. Thoughts?
4) when shopping, every trailer we went in was on concrete slab and only tongue jack and tires (no stabilizers) and we never noticed sway/shaking when walking around. Now, camped with camco levelizers under stabilizer jacks and x-chocks on tires but the bounce when we walk (or move for that matter) is very noticeable. Stabilizer jacks are tight, but not excessively. We are on packed gravel, but still - the amount of bounce doesn’t seem right compared to when we were shopping. Is this normal?

Hi there. I have a ‘25 Delta 321BH. The rocker switch with the light is the front cap lights, which should also have a switch in the pass through storage. No idea why there is a switch for that in the bedroom. I don’t have the other issues you mentioned (and don’t have an AC remote at all).

You might not have noticed the bouncing on the trailers in the showroom because they were on perfectly level ground and possibly because your senses were overwhelmed just looking around the trailer. Had you sat down and a cup of coffee or read a book, I'm sure that you'd notice some movement. You need to remember that some movement is okay because the trailer is sitting on air filled rubber tires. Having said all that, have you checked the tire pressure? Under inflated tires would definitely allow more bounce.

Graduations on your new trailer!

Congratulations on your purchase!
I can only comment on item number 4. And it really all depends😂
Obviously ensure side to side and front to back are level.
As others stated, ensure tire pressure is in spec.
Once side to side is level via, blocking under the low side tires or ramp chocks, try to take up as much space as possible under your stabilizers with “Blocking, Leveling Plates or ratedbuckets”.
Ensure your x chocks are tight and your stabilizers are tensioned well. They provide more stable results when they are are not extended anymore than is absolutely necessary to accommodate your site.

We have a 310 RL with 6 point hydraulic leveling/stabilization and we still experience some movement from time to time on some sites.

Thanks to everyone who answered.

Re:more bounce - other than the bedroom, it was noticeable everywhere else. I’m going back to the dealership and will sit in other trailers while someone walks around. Maybe paying attention for it I’ll notice. Or maybe I need to apply slightly more pressure to the stabilizer jacks.
