Roll Down Window Shade Stuck Open

Several trips ago we pulled down the window screen closest to the door too far & it stuck open. My wife is so frustrated with it she wants to cut it off. I was wondering if there is a special tool or method to get the thing to wind the screen up or maybe to take it off so it can be manually rewound? There is hardly any space to get a tool in where it turns or even see if it’s an Allen or Phillips screw or whatever. Thanks

If the technique in Bill Martin's video doesn't work, reach up in there with your fingers (it make take both hands) to turn the roller by hand in the direction of pulling the shade down until the pawl releases letting it go up. This has worked for me.
Thanks very much, the video & your suggestion look promising. We’ll try again when we get our trailer out of storage.

This is common with these. Manually rotating the barrel with your fingers should fix it. If the shade fabric becomes crooked because you've pulled on it too much now, you can take it apart and reset the fabric on the barrel. its only held on by adhesive iirc. this applies to any ones that were slightly crooked from factory as well. Fix at your personal OCD discretion!
