Retractable Shower Handle Issue

Hi everyone,
We are having issues with our retractable shower door handle. It is a cheap and simple plastic piece that latches the door closed while we shower. There is a teeny tiny screw that is supposed to keep the latch secured to the retractable door but it keeps falling off which sends the retractable door flying open while we shower. The plastic latch is stripped and will no longer attach to the shower door. I have been unable to find a replacement handle that only requires one screw. At this point, I am about to get a shower curtain and a tension rod and call it a day! I do love the retractable door though because it squeezes the water out when it retracts back. Any suggestions for how to fix this or should I just reach out to Alliance Service for replacement? Thank you!

I would reach out to Alliance with your Trailer VIN and ask them to send you a replacement under warranty. Assuming your 2024 is still covered by warranty.

Did you get this fixed? Do you know what brand the shower door is? Maybe the manufacturer might have a fix.

I had the same issue with ours from new. I outlined the handle position on both sides of the door. Removed the handle, applied painters tape just outside of the outline. I then applied a heavy coat of black silicone to the glass inside the tape line on both sides, installed the handle back in place(with the set screw in place. Then cleaned up the oozing, removed the tape to provide nice clean lines and taped the handle in place until the silicon dried overnight.

The handle has been secured with absolutely no play for two seasons now.
