Potential new Owner

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. My name is Josh. I guess I'm more than a potential new Owner. I've made my mind up and I'm going with an Alliance Travel Trailer.

My question for you all. And before I ask I know nothing is perfect and all things have issues. I would like to know if you could do it over knowing what you know about your TT, 5th wheel or Toy Hauler. Would you buy Alliance again or go another way?

I've done tons of research. Read boat load, watched the videos on Youtube. Went to 2 different dealers. Blue Comapss and General Rv. Seen the models I'm interested in. RK234, RE250, ML226 and the 252RL.

I'm going to RV show in Hershey in 2 weeks to also hopefully speak with a few of the Alliance people.

But I'd also like to hear from the Owners of this brand also. Also I'd like to know if there's anything I should look out for.

Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for y'all's help.

Good luck and have fun at the Hershey show. You will actually have the opportunity to meet the owners and the top staff of Alliance. We went in 2023 just to look but traded and ordered a Paradigm on the spot. We have nothing but good things to say about Alliance. What little things that we had to fix, we worked with the service team to get parts to repaired ourselves. Our goal was to never take the rig back to the dealer and through the support of Alliance we have met that goal. We have been to the National Rally a few times and they always fix anything that needed to be fixed. Very little. I will say that every manufacturer has issues but how those issues are handled is key to their success. Our experience is that Alliance is the best at handling the issues.
We would and will by another Alliance when time is right.
We wish you the best at the show,

Thank you for that. What you've said is what I've heard from people. Sometimes you just gotta ask and see what actual owners have to say. It's greatto know what I've researched and heard has actually been the truth. Most times you can't really believe what's on the interwebs, hence why I decided to ask actual owners. Again thank you for reiterating what I thought was true about Alliance and their customer services and how they stand not behind their product but in front of it.

Agree with 2 Allies,,,have owned several brands over the years,,, after a long & thorough search,,,settled on Alliance. Shopped ,,,touched existing owners,,,Each of our final 3 mfgrs & models,,,new & old,,,,lurked on those owner forums,,,,& bought lightly used due to owner family health issues. Paradigm 382 RK, stationary set up,,,full time living,,,sno bird w a small tow behind for our adventures,,,,
Have found Alliance walks their talk,,,will help with issues,,, clarify & motivate dealer lag issues,,would not hesitate to buy Alliance again,,,the few issues we have encountered have been handled quickly & left us completely satisfied.
Believe you are making an excellent choice & STRONGLY recommend you perform an extensive PDI (pre delivery inspection-forum member Oregon Camper offers a very good one for use on his posts). It is WELL worth the time & effort to do that prior to finalizing your purchase. Keeps mfgr., dealer and customer relationships intact & catches a lot of the nuisance ISSUES & system functions questions discussed, remedied &/or repaired prior to driving off the lot! Good luck in your selection,,,👍🍀!

Thank you. I absolutely plan on having a thorough PDI done before I sign the final paperwork. I really appreciate the info on who to ask for a good person to help with that.

We're on our 5th RV...started with Colement popup. All of them have issue along the way. Just understand things will go wrong, but from my experience Alliance will do the right thing to make your repair as painless as possible.

Thank you. I know there will be things that go wrong. It's like all things. It's not a matter of if but when. I'm just glaf that all of y'all are echoing everything good I've heard about Alliance.

Also....while the info on this page shows "Staff Member", just know I am NOT an Alliance employee...I do not get paid to moderate this forum..I do it as a hobby only (retirement gives me a lot of free time  ). The "Staff Member" text is simply a forum title.

There are many qualified people on this forum, to guide you through any problem you may encounter. You have landed in the right place...bookmark it!

If you are the DIY type, you will get a solution, faster than Alliance customer support some times...LOL. If you are looking for legitimate concerns, you should know.....then you should know, they do not ship parts quickly and they are not open on weekends. Do not go to a dealer, if you can do it yourself. Take a look at Mobile tech's in your area and if it is warranty, Alliance will work with them as well. Welcome to the RV maintenance battle!!

Thank you I really appreciate it. I'm an electrician by trade. I work on most things myself at my house. If I can't do it I have plenty of people who can. I've already favorited this forum on my phone.
