Yes, I have experienced the same issue. It appears to be a design flaw with the location of the sensor, as it has very limited visibility to the remote control. I also found a YouTube video that demonstrates a few ways to improve its performance.
The solution that has worked best for me is to pull the sensor through the filter opening so it hangs slightly into the conditioned space. Once I did that, the remote worked much more reliably.
I believe Furrion should address this in a future design revision, as the current sensor placement is frustrating for end users and negatively impacts the overall user experience.
