Anyone recomend a good set of Pex Hose Crimpers?
Or better yet a good kit that comes with everything you need to repair a hot or cold line leak or crimp break?
Thanks

I bought the one from Amazon also only in the box (keeps clamps and everything together). Works great for small jobs. 7ACmike

I have this exact one as well. It works well for DIY projects and is onboard with us as we travel just in case.
I would recommend it.
B,
How much hose do you Cary with you? Do you Cary Red and Blue?
Hose is half inch correct?
Do I need to Cary the brass inserts as well Or can I use the one from what I am repairing?
I don’t want to “what if it“ to death, but I like to be able to fix a leak if I have to?
thanks

So, we carry about 5 feet of each color hose. (1/2 inch)
I also purchased a multi compartment small parts organizer to keep fittings, crimper and cutter in a “kit”
We carry a “few” hose splices( coupler/ unions) 90 degree ,“tee” fittings and PEX to threaded adapters with a supply of crimp rings. We are only weekend warriors, so it’s not a lot of stuff but hopefully enough to save the trip if needed.

While I did order a crimper based on this thread. Keeping aa few Shark bite fittings on board for" just in case" is a viable alternative solution
