Paradigm 382RK drawing showing tank locations

Hey All,
Does anyone know where I can find the 382RK DMW Plan showing the location and capacity of the holding tanks? Thanks

Hi @Drillagent - Contact our Customer Service team for this sort of thing. Reach out to them via email with your request and why you need it. Email: service@alliancerv.com. Include your name, phone, last 6 of your VIN and the reason for the request.

Below is an image from our website that shows the tank capacities.

Looks like you have 106gallon black tank capacity which would indicate you likely have 2 black tanks. One beneath each toilet.
Good morning,,,we got our tank layouts from Alliance as noted above & Lantley is correct,,,, We have a 2023 Paradigm 382 RK and have 2 black tanks & 2 gray tanks,,, info above reflects total tank capacities when combined,,,if you look under your trailer at the choroplast you will see some choroplast access panels that are near those tank plumbing connections. Gray water #1 under MBR bath W/D shower gray,,,gray water #2 is under kitchen sink on ours,,,near domestic water tank,,,,by it’s own valve. Black #1 on ours drains MBR toilet,,,Black #2 drains 1/2 bath lower level. Hope this helps,,,Enjoy 👍🌞🍀!

So then am I correct in assuming that the one black tank flush works on both black tanks?

Yes,,,,on the control panel you dump #1 black,,,run the clean flush,,,shut valve #1 dump,,,,then dump #2 black,,,,flush,,,,close valve,,,& if you want can dump Gray #1 & flush as long as both black tank drains are closed 1st,,,we typically keep our tank dump valves closed & use a two way splitter drain hose w a clear 90* when doing black #1 & Gray #1,,,if you don’t want to use a splitter you can just dump gray #1 & it will drain & ” rinse” black #1 hose if black #1& #2 dump valve are closed,,,,👍

So I have been opening both black tank valves at the same time and then using the flush does that mean the tank flush has not been working?

Am not sure,,,in my opinion w both open at one time flush may not be flushing as effectively in either tank thanif we do them one at a time,,,but that’s just my thinking,,not based on any data,,,just gut feel,,,3 valves,,= 3 separate operations ??

I was always under the assumption that there is some kind of water pressure activated spinning spray mechanism built in the tank to flush the tank? But maybe I’m overthinking it?

I believe you are correct,,,my thinking is based on belief the gray tanks & black tanks are connection flow controlled to avoid, if possible, getting black waste into gray tanks,,,but OK to have gray water mix w black to help clean out those tanks & discharge hoses,,,have never had a built in black tank scrubber able to clean gray water tanks unless a “ flush master”, after market style exterior fitting is used & then, in my opinion, you “ rinse “ the respective tanks separately using the tank valves to isolate which tank is cleaned. This approach is what leads me reason as I …. We don’t use this valve but several of the more experienced members have referenced them,,,flush master is my recall description,,,May have different proper valve name,,,

New edit: Alliancerv.com offers a lot of Owner empowerment videos on our systems as well as some nifty tech tips & Wed. Training tips. Another good resource is you tube rv videos google subject & May have explanation of how the multi tank black tank flush works.

Here is an excerpt I found w a quick query how the black tank flush system works w 2 black tanks,,,,FYI,,,“A black RV tank flush system with two black tanks typically works by using dedicated water inlets for each tank, or a selector valve, to spray water inside, rinsing debris while the drain valve is open. You must flush each tank separately, using a clear elbow connector to verify the water runs clear.”

Been living in trailers for years & have always tried to keep it simple,,,I know the process I noted works,,,am sure more informed folks than I also have “their way” that may differ but work for them & perhaps they have a better understanding of function to further help,,,👍🌞🍀,,,Enjoy your adventures,,,travel safe,,,& minor issues !

From watching countless YouTube's I don't think there's any spinning going on. It's just a spray. Some after market wands you stick down the poop chute have spinning heads but I've seen low rating reviews on them for being under-powered.
I haven't used it yet but I bought a hose for my pressure washer with a tip that sprays forward and rearward. I imagine it would be very powerful. 🙃

I agree, from what I have read, you want the max flow rate to draw everything out of the black tank. I would think that opening both at same time would allow less water from each tank to drain. End result is empty black tanks but what is left behind will probably be more.
