Pantry shelves

After we got home from a long trip from the RV dealer, we noticed that all the shelves in the pantry had fallen off the clips from the bumps down the highway. Anyone else experience this? What was your solution?

There was a post not long ago on here that someone had the same issue with their pantry shelves falling down because the shelves were cut to short.

I discovered our issue yesterday. The bottom of the cabinet wall opposite the fridge is floating and not attached to the floor. It moves far enough that the shelves just fall straight down.

We have the same problem. Happens all the time. Our 2024 Paradigm 382RK has the pantry in the rear, which experiences the most bouncing. We find that the shelves bounce on the clips, and the shelves fall down, especially when the clips fall out or break. Not a great design. We're considering nanotaping or gluing the shelves to the clips to prevent bouncing or maybe small L brackets for permanent mounts.

I have a new 38DBL and I was trying to assemble the slide out pantry shelves. I have two problems1. The push in shelf supports seem like they just fall right out. The holes should have been drilled smaller. 2. The shelves themselves don’t slide all the way in, like the bottom is just too long. One side will fit then the other won’t go down. Not sure if tapping them with a hammer would help.
I also would agree that these even if I get them down they would just fall during transport. Any advice before I go MacGyver on this?

@Cgsrfr It probably needs a just a smidgen to drop in. POSSIBLY you could use one of these set to spread with an appropriate length of wood to push out the walls just a tiny bit. I wouldn't get carried away but just apply a little pressure to see if it'll drop.
A more involved strategy would be to notch where the clips are <⅛" rather than cut the whole width shorter.
You should thank the stars that they're too long instead of too short. 😉
The linked to clamps are sold everywhere but not all can be reversed to spread.
