No power to camera wiring

Went to install a rearview camera and there's no power to the wiring behind the plug high on the back of the unit. Camera switch is "ON". I've checked the wires with a mutimeter. Does anyone know which fuse controls that wiring? Or, have any suggestions for what else might get it working? Thanks.

Situation solved. I contacted Alliance via email and, after a couple of emails, they suggested pulling off the switch control panel to see if the switch wires were disconnected. That was the problem: one of the wires wasn't connected to the switch terminal. There was another switch that had a nearly disconnected wire there also. Obviously, this shouldn't have happened but it's something you can check (besides the fuses) if you have a DC circuit that's not working.

I am having the same exact problem. picked up trailor this past weekend, no power to camera with switch on. measured zero volts at connector. removed panel to verify connectors were pushed onto switch. it was a white and red/ white cable if memory serves. I don't know what fuse to check. I have an appointment with dealer's service dept. for 9/12 but would like to get it corrected before then. Any ideas. Maybe it's possible they connected the wrong wire to the switch?

Could it be the rocker switch itself? I am far from an electrician, but I wonder if you could use a multimeter on the switch connections to see whether the circuit closes when you turn the switch on.

I had the same issue as well. I opened up the wall panel and found one of the wires fell off the switch. So, since I had the panel open, I changed out the camera switch with one that lights up blue when on. So now it's easy to see when the camera is on or off.

Just to follow up, I traced out the cable and discovered that the camera was wired to the exterior light switch and the exterior lights were wired to the camera switch. Swapped wires to their proper location and problem solved. Easy mistake to make during assembly I suppose but you would think it would have been caught during inspection. No biggie. Kudos to alliance for color coding and numbering their cables.
