New mounting for Haloview 7" monitor

I have a '21 Ram 2500, that I pull my Delta 292RL with. I recently purchased the Haloview BT 7 rear camera system. None of the monitor mounting options that came with the kit fit my desires. The dash did not have a good place to put the 7" monitor and I did not want to attach it to the wind shield. What I really wanted was to mount it on my rear view mirror, as the mirror is useless when towing. So I designed a 3D printed mounting that is hung on the review mirror. This worked really well on the 2 week trip we just returned from, to Big Bend. I have posted this mount on Thingiverse for free download for those that have 3D printing capabilities. Have a great day!

Love the design!! I also used a 3D printed one off Thingiverse (printed 2 pieces) but I forgot to take it down on a hot/sunny day and it soften the plastic so much that the weight of the display pulled it down almost hortizontal.

I then remade the same desing with wood, which has worked great. I hope yours holds up better. (y)

We don’t have a 3D printer. We just use 2 heavy duty rubber bands and rubber band the monitor to the rear view mirror. Has worked well, and easy to replace the rubber bands if they get a little lax.

Wow, it looks you have such strong practical skills. However, I found Haloview's website offers the accessories, mirror mount RVMB01 and RVMB03 for BT7 monitor. Maybe you could have a look.
