Hello, new to forum and to Alliance. Previous Winnebago Micro Minnie owners. We are picking up our new Delta and felt there were items that should have been taken care/inspected before our arrival. Kitchen sink dampener fallen off, chip on internal slide header trim, drawer handle ripped off, black lacquer on top of dinette scratched, when the dinette table is placed into the bed position, the platform was crooked and didn’t not fit into position, table had to be remounted, table looks fine in the up position but when placed into the bed position, the table isn’t square with the dinette seat frames, surely a manufacturing issue, puncture hole on the inside of the sofa slide, on each side of the bed there is hidden storage compartment that lifts up, the doors are not flush with the rest of the nightstand and sit at a slight slope, as if the wrong hinges were installed at the factory. The dealer said the sink will have to be replaced and is looking into getting new one, they used a furniture crayon to ‘repair’ the trim on the slide header but said the entire trim piece will need to be replaced and are looking into that. They patched the small puncture hole inside the slide roof.
The aluminum skirting around the outside of the trailer was separated in two sections, it needed additional screws and sealant. Our unit has a grill and refrigerator compartment on the outside. During our walkthrough, the technician pulled out the slide for the grill to demonstrate it’s use and the framing holding the grill and refrigerator tipped forward. It wasn’t anchored to the rv and needed to be reinforced with anchors. Now we are looking at the roof and see ripples in the membrane at what appears to be the where the plywood roof panels underneath may be seaming together, concerned that this may flex with time and possibly tear the roof membrane? Now we are finding a leak behind the toilet which appears to be from pex pipe cut too short. See photos.
Are these typical things ? Are we over reacting? The dealer says they do complete inspection on the Rv’s and they test all the systems, but do they really? Seems like this should have been inspected by the manufacturer and the dealer, and remedied before we even arrived. Feels like some failures on both the dealer and manufacturer parts. Just frustrating and wonder if these are common issues for other buyers?
