Maybe I did not have them secure enough but I have pulled away with X chocks in place more than once.
I no longer use them simply because I don't find them benificial, but once upon a time a used them.
X chocks are no way near as foolproof as ground chocks. X chocks even come with a label from the manufacture stating they are stabilizers not chocks.
Roto chocks which are no longer made are a viable wheel lock solution.

I’ve pulled away with Xchocks in place on a travel trailer being pulled only by an EcoDiesel. Agree with the fact they’re easy to pull through. But the do take a little of the motion away for us. Noticeably so, actually.

-Start planing on how to organize your bays and pass through. Lots of thoughts on that.
-good sized collapsable bucket and long handled wash brush.

Though I don’t have one yet, you reminded me about the ladder.

Tools (Voltmeter and the basic wrenches and screwdrivers), Water Flow meter, Electrical fuses and small wire connectors, Pex tools along with 1/2" caps or valves (To stop any leak immediately before going to store) and silicone. I carry a lot more, but I have a tool box on my truck. May your trip not need a single thing I listed...except the water flow meter. Have Fun!!

Pex tool & a few fittings, plugs, i carry 2 short pieces of pex, to get me out a jam. Longer screws, gorilla wood glue, volt meter, at least 2 of each fuse, including the glass 7.5a for the water heater

For those who carry an air compressor please: I've carried a Makita DMP181ZX 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless High-Pressure Inflator for some time, but until recently, have only used for 'topping off' or to inflate airbags (when I had my F150). Until recently I had (& used) an FR Cedar Creek 40CCK for which I needed to pump up the 4 tires to 80# (they all were low after sitting for a while under a pole barn) - getting ready to turn in for a 2026 32RLS. I went thru several batteries to do so.

So, my ? is what air compressor do ppl use? In my experience, they've been very heavy & bulky (but didn't have one for either of my (soon to be prior) RVs. I'm fine to get one, but I'd rather learn what works well from others TY in advance; Appreciate the lists of 'stuff' & would like to get a little more down into a little more detail.

Carry GreenLeaf I think thats the name, fits under back seat in truck plugged into the 110V for charging while driving. ALways ready to go. Provides plenty of air just not the fastest in the world but mainly use it to top off tires. Comes with battery and charger.

My go to is a DeWalt 20 volt inflator It can air my 80 psi tires. I have lots of Dewalt stuff and lots of Dewalt batteries.
I also carry A 110 Volt Harbor Freight air compressor I seldom use it but it's there if I really need a compressor and a pinch. I could run it off my 5'ers inverter Or my when 3600 dual generator if I really needed to.
My DeWalt inflater gets the job done 99% of the time.
