We had the goosebox on old camper with a 4 inch extension from B&W. Worked great.
We just picked up a valor 41v13 and the dealer put on the GEN Y.. with the extension it made the dually feel jerky... so without it rides alot better but can not fully hook up with the tailgate down... now for the safety chains... i park and release the hitch, then lift the camper all the way up... have my wife pull ahead just enough to get tailgate down and that gives me more room to get the saftey chains unhooked..
