The drain light, on the electric drain switch. I just crawled under the trailer and pushed in on the servo or electric motor and got it to shut the drain light off. I also found there was an access panel cut under this drain valve so this has been a problem in the past. I also found the cable sitting beside the electric drain valve, not connected to anything. I would like to know if it is OK to connect the mechanical cable and use it. Would I be hurting the electric services? I’ve never had a trailer with electric dumbbells before.
Well, it would be my opinion that this was a previous owner modification.
You indicated that you found a manual cable as well.
I would think this would be an either or option , if the electrical valve has a mechanism to attach the manual cable.
I would think the better option would be to commit to one or the other, meaning find the manufacturer of the electrical valve and hook the wires up per their instructions, Or replace the valve with a mechanical version and hook the cable back up.
I do not believe that a electrical activated valve could be converted to a manual operated one, but one never knows without the specific details.
