I had low water flow on my cold water side of the kitchen faucet. What I did was take the faucet off (this is the easiest way) and pushed a firm wire up into the cold water hose and just keep pushing it up and down by the handle controller. SUCCESS. It worked and saved me a few $$$.
First off make sure the cold and hot water flows are the same at the shut off valves. And yes you need some rags to wipe up the water in the cabinet.
An easy job just have the correct tools and rags.
NOTE: if you decide to buy a new faucet make sure that the hose connectors are the same as what are there. House faucets typically have a different connector on their hoses.
