May I suggest locating the hole inside directly under the hole in the roof (as per Winegard recommendation (1" hole in ceiling must be directly below hole in roof).
Mine is about 5" away. You wouldn't think 5" makes a difference but hooking up the GW1000 was difficult as only about 4" of coax is available. Not to mention SIM card R&R. I have to unplug the 3 delicate coax and the power cable to do this. Also at GW1000 installation I had to fish around with a coat hanger to collect the 3 coax cables.
My suggestion would be to mount the Air 360 at 19" instead of moving the hole to 14" if in doing so you can maintain 18" clearance from other rooftop accoutrements.
Another benefit to that is getting the dome further away from tree limbs.
Wishlist: Provide an ethernet cable routed from the dome hole to the pass-through storage.
