Lippert One Control

Does the Alliance 2024 310RL have the Lippert One Control or something like it? The system allows you to control Slide outs, awnings, lights etc from your iPhone. Great feature, does my Alliance have it??

Thank You 😊

It does not have “One Control”. Alliance uses a main panel equipped with rocker style switches to control slides, lights, heaters and awnings

Our '24 385FL does have the 3-way switches in the basement storage on both sides so you can let the slides and awnings out while standing outside watching them. I believe this change was made on all '24s.

My last 5'er had the slide controls on a remote. Remote is the way to go. There can be slide obstructions inside or out.
Simply being outside does not solve the all clear issue.
However being right next to the slide enures the operators can see the path is clear inside or out.

“One Control” 🤣🤣🤣. The system allows you to operate all of those on your phone remotely. Sitting in your chair hit the button on your phone, awning rolls out, hit another button on the phone lights come on. Our 2022 Grand Design had it, was a nice feature.

Exactly, eyes directly on the slide 👍🏼👍🏼

I still like the Alliance approach to physical buttons, less chance for failure and easier repair.
We have found the 3-ways work for us. We are not going to compromise this beast in a site that is too tight anyway.

I like physical buttons as well vs. a screen or touch panel.
However instead of having 2 sets of switches inside and out. A TV style remote can be added to the system in addition to physical switches.
Even now I cannot fully see my bedroom slide when deploying it. If something has fallen in the way I will not know until I hear the crunching sounds! Exterior switches do not resolve this issue.
With a remote I could place myself wherever I need to be to see what is going on inside or out

Appreciate that, but until you have had the App/Phone in your hand you probably don’t yet know what you are missing. You already have your phone on you, it never had an issue in 3 years. Anyhow I guess I will pursue installing it. After the fact is likely to not be as reliable.

Did you add the remote? So you recall the manufacturer?

I had the Lippert One Control on a previous rv and loved it!! It was especially handy when putting the awnings in or out. On my Valor I have accidentally left the awning out all night a couple of times because when I came inside I forgot to do it. It's hell getting old!! Lol

I also had Lippert one control back in 2013 and it was awesome. So there is no solution or is this one control phone app a real option. Totally good with phone app if it is available. Just not sure if there are options

It was a OEM lippert system in a 2012 Open Range 5th wheel. It worked great. But I don't think the remote was used in later model years.
I like the idea of the One control with app. But I don't like the idea of a touch panel or screen. If the screen fails your dead in the water. Switches can be bypassed, but a faulty touch screen is hard to work around.
I hate to deal with a touch screen problem especially if I'm in a remote location. Give me an old fashioned switch vs. 3rd rate RV electronics.
RV electronics are just not as reliable and robust as they could/should be.
Just look at our TV and audio set up......mine works ....but cheap is the word that best describes the quality.

I think it is insane to think I will have less technology than back in 2013. Ok with switches for everything inside the coach and agree with rationale but do not understand not having Lippert one control. Having a remote to operate Lippert leveling alone enabled me to never get out of my truck to hook up and to easily deploy slides safely inside and outside, turn on exterior lights, deploy awnings etc... Never once had any issues and the device was rechargeable. I will continue to search for a solution.
