A few days ago someone mentioned an upgrade for Lippert solid step stairs. RV Step Lever Compatible with Lippert Solid Step, Upgraded 304 Stainless Steel Quick Release Leg Latch Replacement Kit for Travel Trailer & 5th Wheel. Amazon and etc. have this product.

I replaced the OEM steps with the MoRyde strut assist 4 steps. Can raise/lower with a finger. They have the drop down legs inside the legs and a lever to let them fall out or get pushed up. Easy peasy. Notcheap tho!

My Lippert stairs are already strut assisted so spending $80 (last year's price) was more cost-effective.🙃

I would totally agree! Wouldn't be surprised if Lippert made the stairs for MoRyde!! Can't trust anyone these days!
