Lippert Auto Leveling

I have reset my auto leveling in my garage on a level floor. Then when we go out camping it will never auto level. It gives me excess angle error everytime. Even when the ground is really close to being level. Why does it do this every time. I've never gotten the auto level to work.

Ours did that originally but the rear sensor was found to be loose. So every time we moved the sensor moved and would not autolevel.
On our 24 Paradigm 385FL, the sensor was located just behind the rear axle. It had an access patch in the coroplast. We were at the National Rally and had it fixed. It is an easy fix, just resecure with self tapping screw. It has worked flawlessly since.

Hope this helps and good luck,

I agree with what others have posted here. Check both the front and rear sensors to ensure that they are mounted in the correct direction and securely mounted. Then go thru the manual recalibration process and “button dance“ on the controller to program it.

It sure sounds like one of the sensors is loose or not mounted in the correct orientation.

Same thing happened to us in our 44V14. The rear sensor module was loose on the "shelf" mount as they used screws too small for the holes and the holes in the sensor didn't line up with the holes on the bracket anyways. It was bouncing around and got stuck sort of cocked sideways giving us the problems auto level. I pulled the rear section of coroplast, cleaned the dust off the shelf and put some VHB tape under it before putting larger self tappers through the holes. Check the front one first as it should be easier to access in the front compartment.
