Do I need to oil or lube my jack legs? If yes what should I use to keep them sliding easy And wear do I apply the spray?
Thanks

It is recommended to spray the exposed leg with a silicone spray or WD-40, if they will be extended for a long period of time. This would be the part that extends and retracts into the main housing. This is to protect against corrosion.Do I need to oil or lube my jack legs? If yes what should I use to keep them sliding easy And wear do I apply the spray?

ACF 50 is a really great product also. Same aerospace roots as Bioshield but is supposed to penetrate deeper and last longer. Both are excellent protectants perfect for exposed metal.I love using Boeshield T9 for so many things on my trailer. I think it has really good lifespan and protection and doesn't squeak as badly as a silicone-based spray.

I don't have a kingpin or hitch but if I did I believe you can use it for those. From what I have read, it is safe for electrical as well and plastics/rubber. I wasn't overly concerned with overspray when I was quieting some leaf spring/shackle noise and my levelers.Do you use Boeshield on your kingpin and hitch as well?
