By Brass I assume you mean copper. I believe copper was used in the early RV's before any plastic pipe had become common place.I personally will never use the push to fit. Crip is the only way to go and brass is a must. I HATE the fact Alliance doesn't use brass through the RV.
However copper in an RV is not ideal, it freezes and splits easily vs. plastic, it also corrodes and does not behave well with acidic/well water.
Plastic pipe ( pex) is much more durable for RV use. We won't get into cost vs. plastic.
Copper pipe would add thousands of dollars to the cost of an RV's.
