Jacks “popping”?

Ours has been doing that sine we bought in January 2024. We had leaks from fittings and pump. Fixed leaks topped off with torco fluid and stopped. Did not do it after we left Texas in April. Now that we are back and it it doing it again but not as much and quieter, mostly when moving around in bedroom slide. Maybe it is a Texas thing😂

Responses to your questions Bryan.
Can you redefine your issue? The hydraulic system has been "popping" since last August. Making a pop noise randomly. It sounds like it is adjusting to loss of fluid but NO fluid is leaking.
Meaning when exactly does it happen? It's random. Several pops at once then none for a few minutes then 1 pop, and so on.... After set up is complete? Of course after set up is complete. All landing/leveling and slides are extended. I even retracted slides and let it sit thinking maybe a slide issue. Nope, still popping. Once all extended, when you walk up stairs outside, it may pop. Inside you move around and it may pop.
During Set up? Nope. When all retracted there is no popping. Popping occurs whether it's hot out, mild, or cold. Doesn't appear to be temp related.
I saw you made a comment about hearing it in the slide, does that mean static or while extending or retracting. There is no popping when extending or retracting. Only when all are extended.

We did do a test to check to see if the seals were leaking, as per Lippert. They all tested good, no leaks and no leaking visible anywhere. And yes, we did add 2 quarts of the stiction fluid back in September/October. We sent several videos in documenting the issue.

Alliance has been good so far but I am waiting on their next step.
JHC,
Thanks for answering the questions.

Wondering if you could get some very specific measurements on the jacks after you complete your set up.
After a popping cycle, you could remeasure and MAYBE determine what jack or jacks might be acting up.
Or perhaps mark the jack pistons with a sharpie marker or piece of tape at a specific reference point and see which one might move that way.

Another thought measure down a specific distance from the fix jack body and install a wire tie around the piston and use that as the reference point.

OK...I have to throw my 2 cents in here. If it is not stiction, then it is air. I am guessing there is a cylinder with a bad plunger. So perhaps capping off each cylinder may reveal the culprit when just running them all? If you are hearing it when also running your slides, then I would start with the two back ones. Should I ever experience the same issue, then I am definitely going to install test tees in, if I have to do all of that. Best of luck and I would like to hear what you find out. Time to isolate the cylinders.

Thinking about it more, perhaps you can shut off the flow to all the cylinders, except the one you are testing. You will need help.

Mine have popped since I bought the thing couple years ago. This fall I noticed a blistered and leaking line, when I drop the belly, I will see if any leaks elsewhere.

I have seen with the heavy equipment I have owned, do some weird stuff. The most notable, was the inner part of the hose intermittently collapsed.
