Unhappy Buyer

Here is the first go around!

Dead battery on pickup that would not hold a charge- This is still a continuous issue, and nothing is being done about it.

Compartment door flew open due to lack of locking mechanism, causing damage

Molding detached in the bathroom, causing further cosmetic damage.

Missing recliner power plug, rendering it unusable

Molding issues in the dining slide and toy hauler area

Entry doors do not close from the inside, despite being told this was resolved before delivery

Recliner material already bubbling/ripping

Happi-Jac system intermittent functionality (possible electrical fault)- Because it worked when Campers Inn tried it Alliance stated that there is no issue!

Incorrect plumbing (hot water in kitchen sink is plumbed to washer connection)

No sewer pipe identification stickers- Still not on the Camper from the factory

Storage bin light strip that does not turn off

Molding fell off above couch- Large wooden piece

Above the entry door to the toy hauler molding fell off

Main entry door the lock doesn’t work

Door jam going out to the toy hauler is separating

The Living room AC isn’t blowing out cold air

Dining room window is leaking

Second go around
  1. Battery Issues
Since day one, the battery has consistently been dead even with everything turned off. When the customer came to pick up the unit on Sept. 27, the battery was dead again and the slides would not work, but the tech was able to start the generator. The refrigerator also seems to turn on by itself. Even after verifying shutoffs with John at Alliance, the battery continues to drain.
  2. Bathroom Trim Repair
The trim was repaired with white putty that does not match the wallpaper and the holes remain visible. The putty was peeling off by hand.
  3. Bathroom Trim Gap
The reinstalled trim has a large, visible gap from the wall.
  4. Recliner Repair
Bubbling was addressed, but the surface now feels uneven and rough.
  5. Ripped Flooring
The flooring on the dining room slide is ripped.
  6. Dining Room Window Caulking
Exterior caulking was poorly applied and is visible on the paint.
  7. Sewer Tank Labels
Labels sent by Alliance were not applied. Campers Inn was unsure which label matched each tank.
  8. Dining Room Chair
    Paint is peeling.
  9. Happi Jac works piratically
  10. Doors would not close or lock-that was fixed
This unit is no longer brand new, the manufacture warranty will be up soon, and I never used the camper! The above listed issues are still going on till this day. I still don't have my unit and Campers Inn in Toms River N.J is not able to fix the unit properly and Alliance states it is not worth bringing the unit back to them to have the problems resolved unless I want to pay for it!

Hello, I am sorry your experiencing this and have been unable to use your camper since day one. You have quite the list of items to be repaired.
Given this has been on going, I would escalate this to upper management at Alliance and have direct conversations with the leadership team.
If you have any warranty coverage left they have a obligation to get it repaired for you under the coverage details.
I would insist on a factory visit to have this laundry list addressed.

Good Luck!

I agree with Bryan, you need to set up communications directly with Alliance. It sounds as though you have been getting the dealership run-around.
Alliance will help you get things resolved, you just need to work with them directly as it seems the dealership go between is not working.

Good luck,

Did you take if off the lot with all those issues? I would have walked away with my check in hand...only to come back with the check once everything was resolved to my satisfaction.

What Jim said. If all those items were at fault, I would have walked, no....RAN out the door. I spent 4 hours checking ours out before I signed. Held the fiance dude tll I was done. What I found, they fixed on the spot. With that many items, it sounds like it was a Monday after the Super Ball build.
Sorrey your having so may problems. If all that is going on, look into your states Lemon Laws. IT seems a bit much.

You have submitted quite a list of items you have found to need attention, but I'm a a loss to understand why you have submitted them to the forum. It seems that these are issues only addressable with communication between you and Alliance.
