Inverter for TV

We have a 2024 310rl, so no factory inverter. We boondock a bit so would be nice to power the tv in the kitchen slide. I was thinking of getting rid of the useless radio and using the power lead to run a small (300 watt?) inverter to run the TV. Rather than run all new wiring into the slide Would be nice to use it for the oven too as my wife makes the best sourdough bread you have ever tasted. We boondock for 10 days or so in the summer and I can’t go that long without fresh bread.
Cheers

  1. A 300W inverter at 12V typically draws between 25 to 30 Amps at full load...the wiring to radio is most likely only rated for 5 amps..maybe 10 amps.
  2. I think the oven only needs power to get the electronic spark to "spark" to ignite the propane. You should be able to use a extended lighter to do the same thing
For the TV...you should consider a small power bank, like the one linked/shown below. Easily enough for TV usage and you'd have it for use at home if you ever loose power there.

I made the switch to lithium batteries last year and I’m hot to use them to keep everything going without running the generator too much. I think I’ll try to feed a wire through there, big enough to pull 20 amps.
