Insignia oven does not work without shore power

Today I was astounded to learn that we cannot use the oven if not on shore power. You can manually light the range burners but NOT the oven.
We do not have an inverter.
Does anyone have an opinion on installing a low power inverter in the adjoining cabinet for just the oven? I have no idea yet what the power requirement would be. This info is not in the manual.

You could probably getaway with a small portable power station since you only need enough power to make a
spark.

Found out the same thing a few months ago. It took me a couple of minutes to realize the igniter was not on the 12v circuit. Now I just light with a propane lighter. I would like to install a small inverter just to power a couple of outlets. Maybe someone at the northwest rally can help.
