Strange that you have no ice maker mounted on the ceiling compartment of your freezer on the left hand side.

The ziplock idea is a good one and will have to try it out. I currently park a butter knife in the freezer and violently ice pick it apart....It isn't hard, but I am trying to keep pace with all the headlines in the news, so I used "violently"...LOL.....It provides plenty of ice for the wife and I. The down side, is it does not work well, if the trailer is too hot inside the camper.
If I was a full timer, I would want the ice maker in the fridge. Being a part timer, I am glad I do not have one.

Been doing the portable ice maker....into zip lock bag...into freezer....smack on countertop once FROZEN solid for years! Way before we owned this Alliance. Works GREAT!!!
