How is everyone storing their flatware in the 252rl

The drawer in the 252RL is just too narrow for a normal storage of the forks, spoons, knifes. We generally just leave the flatware organizer sitting on the counter top. But it just seems like it is out of place that way.

I have ordered these from Amazon. They fit perfectly. I then cut some plywood half the soze of the height of the drawer. Glued it in place, so the new insert the can slide and it can be removed totally. Difference between night and day.
I have also created several extra shelves to optimize bathroom and kitchen capacity and stability.

We bought two narrow bins for spoons and knives and put the forks above them on a silicone mat. I don’t like the narrow drawers either! But the pantry is nice

I have this in my drawer now as you suggested, (6.7" W x 12D). It works out great!
