Hot water bathroom sink

Sounds like a flow issue, check to make sure the water is not being restricted in the aerator. Might also check to insure the valves are completely open.

Been in my new 32rls for a month and wondering why I cannot get ht water at sink unless I turn shower hot on
Hi folks, I am scratching my head on this on. I would try to trace out the sink hot water line to see where/how they spliced it in. Feels like the sink is being feed from the shower hot based on your description, but I can’t understand how that would be possible give the hot connects pre shower valve and pass directly to the spray head when the valve is turn on. Hummmmmmmmm!

Editing with a thought, do you have a tank style or continuous flow water heater. If continuous flow, you have a restriction in a flow head or valve at the sink that is not meeting the minimum flow to light the heater off. The added flow of the shower head appears to trigger the heater(if continuous flow type)

Try taking the aerator off the sink and see if you get hot water. We had the same problem with the kitchen sink there wasn't enough flow with the aerator in to get the hot water heater to kick on. I'm assuming you have a demand hot water heater.
