Nope. You didn’t miss me. I’m right here.

So. I’m the new guy. I’ve been camping for probably 50 years since Cub Scouts. I was able to camp out quite a lot while I was in the Marine Corps. ;):unsure:Loved most of it but 4 years was enough. Found some good friends in college, and a wife, and we all camped out. Had kids and continued with them. But as is with life, we get older and sleeping on the ground or even a blow up mattress gets old. At 50 I bought the Venture Sonic 220VBH. Yesterday I traded that in for the Alliance Delta 262RB.

One more year to retirement and freedom.

Semper Fi brother and welcome to the final phase of camping for all those who started in the backpacking world!! I went from the Marines to backpacking national parks...hell, there isn't many extreme sports I haven't invested time and money in......enjoy the easier life style, but trade in your walking stick, for a few tools and extra parts you may need to make repairs...LOL
