Help - generator not charging solar batteries

We plugged in our generator and while it powers (30a) to the RV, the solar batteries are not charging? Where do we start troubleshooting? (2022 40v13 with the 3 Solar Plus Renogy batteries)

Hello folks, we’ll the first suggestion I would offer would be to investigate your Convertor Fuse Panel for blown fuses.
Also for clarity, you mention solar batteries, do you have some sort of split 12 volt system? Or just one battery bank?
Normally, your 12v would receive a charge from the converter output and/or the solar controller .
Given your statement of not charging on the genset it is likely not charging when you are hooked to a pedestal as well.
One of the converters functions is to covert AC to Dc to charge your house batteries. A fuse could be blown. Remember fuses blow for a reason so a thorough inspection is in order to understand root cause.

Guessing your disconnect is off. Solar will still charge when that is off, but incoming AC power (gen or shore) will not be allowed through.

I have to agree with Jim on his comments that this is a possibility. However if the disconnect was in fact off, you would not have lighting or even thermostat activity within the coach, both require 12 v for operation. You haven’t reported any 12 volt issue other than battery charging.
All members here provide valuable input, so certainly any suggestions you receive from this forums are worth investigating.
