Heater duct work

Our 23ML has a register on the right side in the kitchen which was basically non functioning. Today I removed two drawers above the vent discovering the flexible duct had to make two 90 degree turns to get to the vent plus another small bend as the register and the hole in the floor were offset. These bends were so shape that the duct was almost completely blocked. I put in 2 metal 90's so that the flexible duct has a straight shot, this did require cutting to make the hole in the floor a little larger, 16" of the flexible duct was also removed. The end result is a good air flow from the vent.

The pass panels in the pass through have been removed and at first glance it looks like there are 2 heater ducts with open butts in the space. If this proves to be the case I plan to get another vent installed probably in the cabinet as you come in the door. I hope to direct the air towards the living area as it takes the longest to warm up. All I need is more time to play with the changes wanted.
