We have put around 10,000 miles on our 2024 Avenue 32RLS this year and have not had any issues with the landing gear.
Tried hooking up for our next adventure and the left front would raise a little then slip back down. Lippert sent new one out said pin or gear could have sheared in the leg as motor tested good. Got it replaced works great but now right side will only retract so far and it stops. Can put it on truck and retracts fine. Lippert is sending another leg out as again this motor tested fine.
What are the chances that both legs go bad at same time without ever having so much as a bind or any trouble?
So confused here and frustrated..
Can anyone maybe shed some light here?

I am wondering if you have any error messages displayed?

Perhaps, performing the Homing process might help, or inspecting the front and rear sensors to ensure they are still mounted securely.

We switched motors from side to side and still had the same problem which is why they said it’s in the leg itself, but still can not figure out why.. I guess I shouldn’t worry about the “why” but want to make sure if it’s user error that it don’t happen again..

Your welcome, I would give that re homing process a try. It is called out in the manual, that might resync things.

Ok I hope this will shed some light on the malfunction. I took the internal parts out of the inside of the damaged leg and found pieces of slag from the weld on the threads which caused the leg to stop. Evidently it’s very common as I looked up the part on E-trailer and several reviews stated the same problem. Lippert knows this which would be why they sent me the leg free of charge even though it’s out of warranty. Doesn’t do much for us other than knowing it’s not user error.

My leveling system totally "bricked" this year. Meaning the display didn't work and only manual operation worked. I learned that the controller needs to be reset, when it has too many errors in it's cache. I did a reset and it corrected EVERYTHING. I think I created the problem, because I was hitting self level when the nose was not in an "above Level" position. The easiest way to do a reset is to find the controller and simply pull out the 12V power supply. Beats disconnecting battery terminals.

Edit...just saw your post...my comments are totally un-releated....now that's a problem. Maybe it will help others
