Maybe instead of Whatcha wanna know Wednesday, Alliance should host a Look at our workmanship Wednesday and address all of their customers shoddy workmanship. 2025 and the Rv industry as a whole has gotten worse in my opinion!
I don't think it's gotten worse per se. I think overall RV's have improved and enhanced features leading owners to have higher expectations.
However RV's are still assembled in the same shoddy haphazard way they have always been. Nothing has really changed in terms of quality control.
Experienced RV owners know that attention to detail is an issue, nevertheless their is always a stream of new buyers that are not as wise to the RV world and expect perfection or at least decent construction. Eventually they figure out that RV construction and assembly leaves a lot to be desired.
Paying assembly workers by the piece and leaving final inspections in the hands of the dealers are inherent issues that produce problems for buyers. There are always lots of issues lurking behind the walls, in the basement and in concealed areas of the RV that owners eventually discover.
A brand new RV's is still a work in progress. Unfortunately it really never ends, old or new RV's require constant maintenance and repair.
RV life is best suited for those with lots of DIY skills.
