General question here, regarding the Coleman Mach AC's

Would you be able to share what make and model AC they are equipped with?

The Coleman Mach’s do not have soft starts installed, if it is a different model of AC some could have factory installed soft starts or newer technology that doesn’t require them.

99.999% sure they do not come with softstart. While nice to have for all types of camping, they are only really needed for boondocking and starting AC units from alternate power...like inverter or small generator. I am guessing the target market for Alliance are folks in full hook up sites. While that is not for us...we love boondocking and I have put softstarts in all 3 of our AC units.

On my 2026 Valor, according to the serial number stickers on the manuals, two of the three A/C units are soft start (Model 38208-0963) and the third is not (Model 38203-0660).
That is interesting for sure. I just asked Bill Martin and he said none of them come with softstarts, but some might not need them. See his reply below.

Yup, another reason that details and context become important.
For sure the 3 Machs on our 2024 didn’t come with soft starts and it was up to the owner to add if they needed it.
As products advance things change and technology improves, so as Darren point out above his late model Machs at least two of them did come factory equipped . This was the reason I was asking for additional information from the original post. Certainly, it is no longer a one size fits all world, details and context when posting become more important everyday.

I doubt you will have any luck with your manual.
I can recommend to sure fire ways to know for sure.
1. Research your actual part number on the Coleman website
2. Maybe this is the easiest way, climb up on the roof remove the cover and look for the device as called out in this video.
