Furrion 10 Cubic ft.

We have the Furrion 10 cubic ft. French door freeze on the bottom DC refer. There is a plastic piece on the left side that the right hand door seals to, can anyone explain to me why this plastic becomes warm to the touch?

If you are referring to the flapper that seals between the doors there is actually a heating element in there to reduce condensation.
