Front door latch

I have a 2023 295MK. I want to install a latch on the door to hold it open. Has anyone put a latch on the door and a holder on the trailer and if you did how did you do it.

I used this one as we didn’t have good luck with two different lengths of the magnetic ball type.
I screwed it to squares of Lexan and the used alien tape to attach to the door and wall — no holes. https://a.co/d/04zzXgYY .

Like George, I have had mixed success with the magnetic ball type, currently on my second type.
If this one doesn’t meet expectation, I will move to a latch type of some sort and like George use tape. Not keen on drilling holes in the camper.

I used a ball and magnet one too. Did not want to drill holes either

Just saw on YT where a guy used RV Door magnet strips. They were just like the ones used to hold open the pass thru door open. About 2-3" long with tape so no holes. He got them from Amazon.

Bought the ball style as well. Thought I opted for a good one on Amazon. The magnet is weak. It won’t hold if the wind is from the front of the trailer. Already rusty due to poor chrome plating.
