Fireplace suddenly not working in 42v13

Hi, All! We've only had our RV for 10 months, but suddenly our fireplace isn't working. When we press the on button on the actual fireplace (not remote), it comes on for a second and then seems to short out. Any ideas, and thanks in advance!

Well, I can only suggest a couple of things. Grab a heavy extension cord and switch the plug to a known good utility outlet(120/60hz) and see what happens. Key things to remember is keep the cord distance short and wire gauge heavy.
If you find it still has the same issue, I would contact Alliance Service and file a warranty claim. They very well may send you a replacement fireplace.
Our friends purchased a new Delta and had a similar issue when they got the unit home from the dealer. Alliance shipped them a replacement fireplace and they installed it themselves.
Alliance, has a history of working with their customers to resolve in warranty issues.
