Fireplace storage squeak

When opening and closing the fireplace storage, it makes a very loud squeak. Can’t really get to the slides to spray some lube on them. Anyone else have this issue?

We all have that problem. We found that if you push the levers out...then DOWN, it will lock them open and you can open close it with no noise. Then just pull them in to unlock them when you're ready to leave.

Or get rid of it . Place feels larger. No more toe stubber. Tv down adds lots of countertop space
